The RUST-OLEUM 282602 is a water-based epoxy maintenance coating formulated for commercial and industrial surfaces that require durable, long-lasting protection. This is Part A (tint base) of a two-component system — an activator must be ordered separately. The coating delivers a satin finish with low VOCs, low HAPs, and low solvent odor, making it suitable for interior environments where air quality and regulatory compliance are priorities. It dries to touch in approximately 30 minutes and returns to service within 24 hours. Licensed painting contractors and facility maintenance crews typically apply this product.

This coating is designed for surfaces subject to frequent wash-downs, moisture exposure, and sanitation requirements, including food processing facilities, commercial kitchens, laboratories, and manufacturing environments.
