The RUST-OLEUM 245515 is a high-gloss, direct-to-metal (DTM) alkyd enamel formulated for industrial and commercial metal protection. Part of the V7400 System 340 VOC line, it delivers rust-preventative performance in a lower-VOC formula at under 340 g/l. This coating applies directly to properly prepared metal surfaces without a separate primer coat, though a V7400 System primer improves maximum performance. It dries tack-free in 2 to 4 hours and provides one-coat coverage in a red gloss finish. Licensed coating contractors and industrial maintenance painters are the primary installers, though experienced facility maintenance staff also apply this product regularly.

This enamel is suited for moderate to slightly severe industrial environments where corrosion resistance, color retention, and chemical resistance are required.
