The RUST-OLEUM 1691838v is a semi-permanent alkyd-based striping paint formulated for inverted aerosol application on outdoor and indoor surfaces. Dispensed from an inverted spray can, it delivers bold, crisp lines with a dry time of less than 10 minutes, making it practical for high-output marking jobs. Coverage reaches 150 linear feet at a 4-inch stripe width per can. The solvent-based, modified alkyd formula provides weather resistance and can be applied in temperatures as low as 32 degrees F. This product is used by utility crews, municipalities, paint contractors, and facility maintenance technicians who need durable temporary markings without a permanent commitment.
This striping paint is suited for exterior and interior applications across a broad range of surfaces including concrete, pavement, grass, and gravel. Common use cases include parking lot striping, warehouse aisle marking, lift truck route designation, pallet position marking, hazardous area identification, and athletic field layout. It is part of the RUST-OLEUM Industrial Choice S1600 series and is designed for use with striping machines, striping wands, and inverted spray can applicators. Jobs requiring markings that remain visible for up to three months without permanent surface alteration are a primary target for this product.
Compatible with striping and marking machines, including equipment with manufacturer part numbers 2388000 and 2395000. Designed for use on concrete, pavement, grass, and gravel surfaces for exterior and interior marking applications.
This product is a flammable aerosol — keep away from open flames, sparks, and heat sources during application and storage. Apply in well-ventilated areas and follow all applicable local safety regulations for aerosol solvent-based coatings. Shake the can thoroughly before use and invert to spray at ground level. Surface should be reasonably dry and free of standing water at time of application for best adhesion and line definition.
