The ROTOR CLIP SE-21ST PA B100 is an external E-style retaining ring designed to secure components on shafts and in assemblies where a low-profile, three-pronged grip is required. Sized for a 7/32 inch (0.2188 inch) shaft diameter with a 0.188 inch groove diameter, this ring is stamped from SAE 1060-1090 spring steel and finished with a phosphate coating for corrosion resistance. The ring measures 0.025 inches thick and seats in a groove 0.029 inches wide and 0.015 inches deep. It is installed by maintenance technicians, millwrights, and mechanical assemblers working on small-diameter shafts in HVAC equipment, motors, pumps, and similar mechanical assemblies.
This retaining ring is suited for applications requiring a compact external fastener on shafts at or near 7/32 inch diameter. It is commonly used in light-duty mechanical assemblies found in residential and commercial HVAC systems, small electric motors, pump shafts, and precision equipment. The E-style design provides three-prong retention without requiring specialized installation tools beyond standard snap-ring pliers. It ships in minimum order quantities of 100 pieces, making it appropriate for repair shops, assembly lines, and field technicians who carry replacement hardware stock.
Designed as an OEM-style external E-style retaining ring for shafts with a 7/32 inch diameter and a groove diameter of 0.188 inches, suitable for use in any mechanical assembly requiring this groove geometry.
Installation and removal should be performed by a qualified technician using appropriately sized snap-ring or E-ring pliers to avoid ring distortion or uncontrolled release. De-energize and lock out all equipment before servicing any shaft assembly containing this ring. Do not reuse a ring that has been visibly deformed, over-spread, or removed from service, as repeated flexing may reduce retention force. Follow applicable machinery safety standards and equipment manufacturer procedures when servicing assemblies that contain retaining rings.
