The ROTOR CLIP SE-14ST PA B100 is an external E style retaining ring designed to secure components on small-diameter shafts and in grooves where space is limited. Made from SAE 1060-1090 spring steel with a phosphate finish, this three-prong ring installs on a 9/64 inch shaft diameter with a groove diameter of 0.102 inches. The phosphate coating provides a base level of corrosion resistance and improves lubrication retention. With a ring thickness of 0.015 inches and a free outside diameter of 0.203 inches, this is a precision-grade fastener suited for applications requiring tight dimensional control. Maintenance technicians, assembly technicians, and field service professionals working with small mechanical assemblies typically install this type of ring.
This retaining ring is used in light mechanical assemblies, instrumentation, small motor subassemblies, and precision equipment where shaft retention is required at minimal shaft diameters. The E style configuration allows installation with standard retaining ring pliers on shafts too small for standard spiral or stamped rings. Typical applications include HVAC motor shafts, small pump components, and similar trade-service scenarios where compact fastening is required. This ring is sold in a minimum order quantity of 100 units per order.
Designed for use on shafts with a nominal diameter of 9/64 inch (0.1406 inches) and a groove diameter of 0.102 inches. Suitable for any application where an external E style retaining ring meeting SAE 1060-1090 and UNS G10600-G10900 specifications is required.
Install and remove E style retaining rings using properly sized retaining ring pliers to avoid deforming the prongs or damaging the groove. De-energize and lock out all equipment before servicing any shaft assembly. Verify groove dimensions match the ring specifications before installation to ensure full seating and adequate retention. Rings that show signs of deformation, cracking, or improper seating should not be reused.
