The ROTOR CLIP KG-50ST OIL is a steel internal spiral retaining ring designed to seat in a machined groove inside a bore and retain components axially without the need for a dedicated shoulder. Built from SAE 1060-1090 carbon steel with an oil finish for corrosion resistance, this ring fits a 0.5-inch bore diameter and delivers a thrust load capacity of 2,530 pounds at the ring safety factor and 530 pounds at the groove safety factor. The spiral construction allows installation and removal with standard retaining ring pliers without distorting the ring cross-section. Maintenance technicians, mechanical assemblers, and MRO professionals working on precision assemblies are the primary installers.

This internal spiral retaining ring is suited for use in compact bores where a standard stamped ring cannot be easily seated or where continuous contact around the groove circumference is preferred.
