The ROTOR CLIP HO-150ST ZD is a heavy-duty internal snap retaining ring designed for secure axial retention of components within a bored housing. Manufactured from 1060/1090 spring steel with a zinc finish, this ring seats into a machined internal groove and holds shafts, bearings, gears, or bushings firmly in place under load. It carries a ring safety factor thrust load capacity of 10,708 pounds and a groove safety factor of 6,000 pounds, making it a reliable choice for high-load mechanical assemblies. Hardness is rated at Rockwell C 47-52 for consistent performance across temperature and stress cycles.
This internal retaining ring is suited for use in industrial machinery, pumps, gearboxes, motors, and other power-transmission assemblies requiring precise axial retention in a 1.5-inch bore housing. It is appropriate for both OEM manufacturing and field service repair applications. The zinc finish provides basic corrosion resistance for general-duty environments. The MOQ for this ring is 10 units, and it is sold individually per package.
Designed as an OEM-style internal retaining ring for mechanical assemblies with a 1.5-inch bore diameter requiring a 0.056-inch groove width and 0.047-inch groove depth.
Installation is typically performed by a machinist or mechanical technician using internal snap ring pliers sized for the ring diameter. De-energize and lock out all equipment before servicing any assembly containing retaining rings. Verify groove dimensions match the ring specifications before installation to prevent ring walk-out or groove damage. Do not reuse a ring that has been removed, as the spring-back characteristics may be compromised.
