The ROTOR CLIP E-87ST ZD is an external E style retaining ring designed to secure components on a 7/8-inch shaft. The ring seats into a groove machined to a 0.675-inch groove diameter and provides axial retention without requiring a groove all the way around the shaft. Manufactured from SAE 1060-1090 carbon steel with a yellow zinc dichromate finish, it delivers a hardness of 37-43 HRC and corrosion resistance suitable for general industrial and mechanical applications. The three-prong E style design allows fast side-loading installation without disassembling the shaft assembly.
