The ROMEX romex10/3w/grdmr is a 10 AWG, 3-conductor NM-B non-metallic sheathed branch circuit cable with ground, supplied in a 250-foot coil. The cable features solid copper conductors insulated with PVC and jacketed in nylon, rated for 600 volts and 90 degrees C. It carries a 30-amp current rating, making it well suited for higher-demand residential branch circuits such as dryer outlets, range receptacles, and double-pole breaker loads. Licensed electricians install this cable during rough-in wiring of new construction or remodel work where NM-B cable is code-permitted.
This cable is intended for use in dry, protected indoor locations in residential and light commercial construction. Typical applications include 240-volt appliance circuits, HVAC disconnect feeds within conditioned spaces, and general 30-amp branch circuit wiring where non-metallic sheathed cable is allowed by the local authority having jurisdiction. The 250-foot coil length suits full-room or multi-outlet rough-in runs without splicing.
Designed as a standard NM-B type branch circuit cable for use in residential and permitted light commercial wiring applications where 10 AWG non-metallic sheathed cable with ground is specified.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the panel before terminating conductors at breakers or devices. NM-B cable is approved only for dry, indoor, protected locations and must not be installed in conduit, exposed outdoor runs, or in wet or damp locations. Secure and support the cable per NEC spacing requirements and avoid sharp bends that could damage the jacket or conductor insulation.
