The ROMEX 28827455 is a Type NM-B nonmetallic-sheathed cable rated for residential and light commercial branch circuit wiring. The 14/2 solid conductor configuration runs at up to 600 volts and ships in a 250-foot roll. The outer jacket is PVC with nylon-jacketed, PVC-insulated conductors inside. The jacket is flame retardant and crush-resistant, making it suitable for standard rough-in work in dry interior environments. Licensed electricians install this cable during new construction and renovation projects where above-ground, dry-location routing applies. UL listing confirms conformance to recognized safety standards for NM-B cable.
This cable is intended for use in above-ground, dry-location branch circuit applications in residential and commercial settings. Typical installations include general-purpose 15-amp branch circuits for lighting and receptacles in wood-frame construction. The 250-foot roll length suits full-room rough-ins or multi-circuit runs from a panel. Installation must remain above grade and in locations that stay dry under normal operating conditions. It is not rated for wet, damp, or direct-burial applications.
Designed for use in above-ground, dry-location branch circuits in residential and light commercial wiring systems where Type NM-B cable is the specified wiring method.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the circuit at the panel before pulling or terminating any conductors. This cable is approved for dry, above-ground locations only and must not be run in wet, damp, or underground conditions. Secure and protect the cable per NEC requirements for NM-B wiring methods, including proper stapling intervals and protection through framing members.
