The Robertshaw 3450-003 Motor Protector safeguards equipment by monitoring PTC sensor resistance, automatically shutting down if stator winding temperature exceeds the trip point. It features a 2-minute delay on pause to prevent short cycling and allows pressure equalization. A constant low voltage monitoring circuit ensures shutdown if supply voltage drops below the minimum, preventing restarts until conditions are met. It also eliminates nuisance shutdowns from voltage spikes.
