Sized at 5/8 inches in diameter and 6 inches in length, it is built with reinforced reamer cutting edges that hold up where standard spade bits fail. A fully threaded cone tip pulls the bit through the workpiece quickly without requiring excessive feed pressure. The contoured paddle design accelerates chip removal, keeping the flutes clear and maintaining cut speed. The NS1007 is designed for rough-in and remodel work where lumber has been previously nailed or where drilling through nail-embedded framing, subfloor, or structural members is unavoidable.
