A specialized carbide tip centers the bit on contact to prevent skating at the start of the hole. The high-quality carbide construction extends service life when working repeatedly in hard materials. The NS100 is designed specifically for natural stone tile, slate, granite, and other specialty tile materials that are harder than standard ceramic tile.
