The ROBBJACK C40-0510-32-36 is a solid carbide slitting and slotting saw designed for precise, narrow-kerf cutting operations on non-ferrous and composite materials. The blade measures 4 inches in diameter with a 0.051-inch thickness and mounts on a 1-inch arbor hole. With 36 straight teeth and a 10-degree rake angle, it delivers clean, consistent cuts at production feed rates. A concave-ground blade face reduces side friction and heat buildup during slotting passes. The bright, uncoated finish is well-suited for materials that react adversely with coatings, such as aluminum and copper alloys. Machinists and toolroom operators install this saw on horizontal or vertical milling machines for slitting, slotting, and undercutting work.
This saw is suited for slitting and slotting operations on aluminum, brass, copper, magnesium, plastics, and composites. It fits standard 1-inch arbor toolholding setups used on knee mills, CNC milling machines, and manual horizontal mills. The right-hand cutting direction suits conventional climb and conventional milling passes. Applications include cutting slots, separating thin-section parts, machining keyways, and producing narrow grooves where tight dimensional control is required. It belongs to the ROBBJACK Series C carbide saw line.
Designed for use on milling machines equipped with a 1-inch arbor. Compatible material applications include aluminum, brass, composites, copper, magnesium, and plastics as specified by the manufacturer.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before mounting or removing the saw. Secure the blade firmly on the arbor with the appropriate spacers and drawbar torque per the machine tool manufacturer specifications. Inspect the blade for cracks or chipped teeth before each use and do not operate a damaged carbide saw.
