The ROBBJACK C27-0625-32-60 is a solid carbide slitting and slotting saw designed for precision cutting operations on a milling machine or machining center. The blade measures 2.75 inches in diameter and 0.0625 inches (1/16 inch) thick, with a 1 inch arbor hole for secure mounting on a standard arbor. With 60 straight teeth and a 5-degree rake angle, this saw delivers clean, accurate kerfs in demanding materials. The bright/uncoated finish makes it well-suited for applications where coating is not required or where coolant is applied directly. Machinists and toolroom operators use this saw for slotting, slitting, and parting operations in production and job-shop environments.
This slitting saw is rated for use in cast iron, stainless steel, carbon and alloy steel, super alloys, and titanium. The concave-ground blade geometry reduces side friction during the cut, which is especially useful when slotting deep features or working with tough, work-hardening materials like stainless steel and titanium. Right-hand cutting direction is standard. It fits any milling setup that accepts a 1 inch arbor and is appropriate for both CNC machining centers and manual knee mills where high precision thin-kerf work is required.
Designed for use with standard 1 inch arbor holders on milling machines and machining centers. Rated for cutting cast iron, stainless steel, steel, super alloys, and titanium. Part of the ROBBJACK Series C slitting saw line.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before mounting or removing the saw blade. Ensure the arbor, spacers, and clamping hardware are clean and free of chips before assembly, as runout caused by contamination will reduce blade life and cut quality. Follow the machine manufacturer and ANSI B11 guidelines for safe operation of milling cutters, including appropriate feed rates and depth-of-cut limits for the material being machined.
