The ROBBJACK C20-0468-16-24 is a solid carbide slitting and slotting saw designed for precise, narrow-kerf cutting in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. At 2 inches in diameter and 0.0468 inches thick, this saw produces tight slot widths with minimal material waste. The 24-tooth straight configuration combined with a 10-degree rake angle promotes clean chip evacuation and controlled cut geometry. The bright uncoated finish leaves the carbide substrate exposed for direct heat dissipation, making it well suited for softer materials where coating buildup would reduce dimensional accuracy. Machinists and toolroom operators working with production or prototype applications will find this saw well matched to their arbor-mounted setups.
This saw is engineered for arbor-mount use on milling machines, rotary tables, and horizontal mill setups. Its right-hand cutting direction and concave-ground body reduce side wall contact during slotting passes. Suitable material applications include aluminum, brass, copper, magnesium, composites, and plastics. It is appropriate for both production shop environments and precision toolroom work where consistent slot width and surface finish are required.
Designed for arbor-mount milling applications in Series C configuration. Compatible material applications include aluminum, brass, copper, magnesium, composites, and plastics as specified by the manufacturer.
Installation requires a suitable arbor and draw bar setup on a horizontal or vertical milling machine. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is locked out before mounting or removing the saw blade. Verify arbor diameter, spacer stack, and clamping nut torque per machine and arbor manufacturer specifications before beginning any cut. Do not exceed the recommended surface footage for the workpiece material, and inspect the blade for chipping or runout before each use.
