The ROBBJACK B-333-04 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking applications. Part of the B-333 Series, this single-end tool features a 0.125-inch mill diameter, a 0.5-inch length of cut, and a 30-degree medium helix angle with three helical flutes. The uncoated Tuffy Grade carbide construction supports both roughing and finishing operations in a single tool. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 0.125 inches in diameter and matches the cutter diameter for consistent tool holding in standard collet chucks. Installed by machinists and CNC operators, this end mill suits tight-tolerance work where a full ball nose profile is required.
This end mill is suited for use on cast iron and non-ferrous metals including aluminum, brass, and copper alloys. The standard length configuration with a 1.5-inch overall length and 0.5-inch reach length keeps the tool rigid during light-to-moderate material removal. It is appropriate for contour milling, profiling, and 3D surface work on CNC machining centers and manual mills where small-diameter tooling is needed. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional spindle rotation on most machines.
Designed as a standard-length replacement or direct-use tool in the ROBBJACK B-333 Series. Fits any machine spindle or toolholder accepting a 0.125-inch straight-cylindrical shank.
Install this end mill in a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder rated for 0.125-inch shanks, and torque the holder to the machine manufacturer's specification before use. Ensure the spindle is fully powered down and the machine is in a safe state before tool changes. Small-diameter carbide tools are brittle - avoid side loads beyond the rated depth of cut and do not use this tool as a drill. Verify runout at the cutting edge with a dial indicator after installation to protect the tool and maintain dimensional accuracy.
