The RIVETKING ABS66CE/P250 is a closed end sealing blind rivet designed for applications where a watertight or airtight fastening is required. The closed end design prevents moisture, air, and debris from passing through the rivet body after installation. The aluminum body pairs with a phosphate-finished steel mandrel, delivering a tensile strength of 690 pounds and a shear strength of 500 pounds. This size 66 rivet features a low-profile dome head and a body diameter of 0.1875 inches, making it a reliable choice for sheet metal, HVAC ductwork, enclosures, and similar assemblies. Each package contains 250 rivets.
This rivet is suited for residential and light commercial applications where sealed fastening is critical, including HVAC duct assemblies, electrical enclosures, roofing panels, and sheet metal fabrication. The grip range of 0.251 to 0.374 inches accommodates a range of material stack thicknesses common in trade and light industrial work. Installation requires a standard blind rivet tool and a No. 11 wire gauge drill bit to prepare the hole. HVAC sheet metal mechanics, electricians, and general contractors working with light gauge metals will find this rivet appropriate for sealed panel and enclosure work.
Designed as a closed end sealing blind rivet for use wherever IFI 126 Grade 19 specifications are required and a No. 11 wire gauge hole can be prepared in the mating materials.
Installation is performed with a standard manual or pneumatic blind rivet tool rated for the rivet body diameter. Prepare the hole using a No. 11 wire gauge drill bit to achieve the required hole diameter of 0.192 to 0.196 inches. Ensure material stack thickness falls within the 0.251 to 0.374 inch grip range before setting the rivet. Remove any burrs from drilled holes to ensure full head seating and consistent pull strength.
