The RIVETKING ABA612LF/P250 is a size 612 open end blind rivet with a large flange dome head, sold in a package of 250. The body and mandrel are both aluminum alloy 5052, finished bright. The body diameter is 0.1875 inches, with a grip range of 0.626 to 0.750 inches, making it suited for fastening moderate-thickness material stacks where one-sided access is the only option. Tensile strength is rated at 320 pounds and shear strength at 260 pounds per IFI 114 Grade 11. The large flange dome head seats against the work surface with a 0.625-inch head diameter, distributing clamp load across a wider bearing area than a standard flange rivet of the same body size.

Installation Notes

Drill or punch the workpiece to a hole diameter between 0.192 and 0.196 inches before setting. Insert the rivet body fully into the hole and seat the tool nose against the flange before pulling. Confirm the mandrel stem has broken flush or below the head surface after setting. Inspect set rivets for proper flange seating and full mandrel break before placing the assembly into service.
