The RIVETKING 12N100RC93P is a countersunk solid rivet designed for permanent mechanical fastening in structural and fabrication applications. Constructed from 18-8 grade stainless steel with an uncoated finish, this rivet offers reliable corrosion resistance without surface treatments. The body diameter is 0.125 inches and the length under the head is 1 inch, making it suitable for medium-thickness material stacks. Solid rivets of this type are driven with a hammer and bucking bar, forming a head on the blind side of the joint and creating a flush, low-profile surface on the installed face. Tradespeople and fabricators working on HVAC panels, sheet metal assemblies, and mechanical enclosures commonly use countersunk solid rivets where a flush surface is required.
This rivet is used in sheet metal fabrication, light structural assemblies, and equipment enclosures where a permanent, flush-face fastener is needed. The 90-degree countersunk head angle seats cleanly into pre-drilled countersunk holes, keeping the fastener surface level with the parent material. Applications include HVAC panel construction, electrical enclosure assembly, and general mechanical fabrication in both residential and commercial trade environments. Installers should drill and countersink the receiving material to match the 90-degree head angle before driving.
Designed as a standard countersunk solid rivet for use in pre-drilled 1/8-inch holes with a 90-degree countersink; suitable for sheet metal, fabrication panels, and mechanical enclosure assemblies where flush fastening is required.
Installation is performed using a rivet hammer or pneumatic rivet gun and a compatible bucking bar. Pre-drill and countersink the base material to 90 degrees before installation to ensure a proper flush seat. De-energize and de-pressurize any equipment before fastening into live panels or enclosures. Do not substitute a different head angle or body diameter, as improper fit will compromise joint integrity.
