The RITTAL 8808500 is a single-door freestanding compact enclosure built on the TS 8 tubular frame platform. Constructed from sheet steel with a dipcoat-primed frame and a powder-coated exterior finish in RAL 7035 light gray, it provides durable protection rated NEMA 12 and IP55 against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets. The enclosure measures 79 inches high by 32 inches wide by 32 inches deep and ships with the enclosure frame, door, roof plate, rear panel, detachable rear panel hardware, and four eyebolts. The 3 mm double-bit lock secures a continuous-hinged door. Licensed electricians, panel builders, and industrial controls technicians are the primary installers.
The 8808500 is designed for industrial control panels, data center infrastructure, outdoor installations, and hybrid application environments where environmental protection and flexible expansion are required. The 16-fold tubular frame system supports flexible baying options, allowing multiple enclosures to be joined into a larger array. The modular design accommodates a wide range of internal mounting components within the TS 8 accessory ecosystem. The right-hand door catch on this single-door configuration can be repositioned to the left to suit the installation layout.
Designed for use within the RITTAL TS 8 baying system and is compatible with TS 8 series internal mounting components, accessories, and baying hardware for industrial, data center, outdoor, and hybrid applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or panel builder in accordance with the NEC and applicable local codes. Disconnect and lock out all power sources before working inside the enclosure. The four included eyebolts are intended for rigging and positioning the enclosure into place and should be removed after installation is complete. Verify the mounting surface and floor anchoring meet the load requirements for the fully populated enclosure weight.
