Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician or plumber in accordance with local mechanical codes, the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC), and applicable local gas utility requirements. Shut off gas supply and disconnect electrical power before servicing or making connections. Venting must be installed per the manufacturer specifications and local code — do not mix venting components from other manufacturers. Commissioning should include verifying gas pressure, confirming proper condensate drainage, and testing all zone controls before returning the system to service.
