The Rinnai FOT-221 is a vent pipe extension intended for Rinnai Gas Direct Vented Space Heaters. This extension allows for venting lengths of up to thirteen feet and supports a maximum of two elbows, not counting the bend at the heater end. The installation requires that the pipe remain accessible and not buried within a wall. Proper drainage is essential; extensions that exceed thirteen feet should drain outside and have a slight downward slope of three degrees to prevent moisture accumulation in the heater.
