The RHEEM 670007a is a regular-bodied, clear PVC solvent cement formulated for use on all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings. It is suitable for Schedule 40 pipe up to 4 inches and Schedule 80 pipe up to 2 inches in diameter. This Lo-VOC formula meets California South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) 1168/316A, BAAQMD Method 40, and various other environmental regulations. Recommended application temperature ranges from 40 degrees F to 110 degrees F. Plumbers and pipefitters use this cement for potable water systems, pressure pipe, electrical conduit, and drain-waste-vent (DWV) installations.
This cement is well suited for residential and commercial plumbing, irrigation, and electrical conduit applications. On non-pressure DWV systems with pipe under 4 inches, no primer is required where local codes permit, which speeds up the installation process. It is appropriate for use in potable water distribution, sewer lines, and pressure piping systems wherever clear PVC cement is specified by design or code. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers of this product.
Designed for use on all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings: Schedule 40 pipe up to 4 inches and Schedule 80 pipe up to 2 inches. Approved for potable water, pressure pipe, conduit, and DWV systems. IAPMO listed.
This product is installed by licensed plumbers and pipefitters working under applicable plumbing codes such as the IPC or UPC. Ensure pipe surfaces are clean, dry, and free of burrs before applying cement. Apply cement evenly and join pipe and fittings with a quarter-turn twist, holding firmly until the joint sets. Allow adequate cure time before pressurizing the system, and verify that local codes permit primer-free installation on non-pressure DWV applications before proceeding without primer.
