Product Description

Rheem 61-42662-18 is an OEM expansion valve (TXV) for Rheem HVAC systems. The thermostatic valve supports R-410A refrigerant and is rated for a 4-ton nominal capacity with a 3/8 in. sweat inlet and distributor outlet. It uses a balanced port mechanism with a mesh insert strainer and bi-flow metering. Capillary lengths include a 30 in. element cap tube and a 24 in. equalizer with a 1/8 in. sweat external equalizer connection.
