The RH PETERSON SDP-18 is an 18-inch split oak designer plus replacement log set designed for use with vented gas fireplace burners. The set includes 6 refractory ceramic logs cast from real wood molds for a lifelike appearance. Each log is reinforced with internal steel rods to reduce chipping and breaking over time. This log set is intended for installation by a qualified gas appliance technician or licensed contractor as part of a complete vented gas fireplace system. The realistic stacking arrangement allows flame to travel up and through the logs in a pattern closely resembling a natural wood fire.

The SDP-18 is suited for residential vented gas fireplace applications where a natural wood-fire appearance is required. This is a logs-only product and requires a separately purchased vented burner and valve kit. Compatible burners include the Peterson G4, G45, and G46 series. This log set is not a universal fit and is certified for use only with specific approved burners.
