The RH PETERSON HRD-18 is an 18-inch Rustic Oak Designer replacement log set designed for use with vented gas fireplace burners. The set includes 6 refractory ceramic logs, each modeled from real log samples to replicate the look of natural wood. Reinforced steel rods are embedded in each log to improve structural durability and reduce chipping and breakage over time. This log set is for vented burner applications only and requires a compatible vented burner and valve kit, sold separately. Installation is suited for licensed gas technicians or experienced professionals familiar with vented gas fireplace systems.
The HRD-18 is intended for residential vented gas fireplace installations where a natural wood appearance is desired without the maintenance and emissions associated with burning real wood. The log set is compatible with the Peterson G4, G45, and G46 vented burner series. It is also available as part of a complete Vented Rustic Oak Designer Log Set Package when paired with a compatible vented burner and valve. This log set is not universal and is certified only for use with specific burner models. Using this log set with a non-certified burner creates serious risk of fire, carbon monoxide poisoning, and property damage.
Compatible with the Peterson G4, G45, and G46 vented burner series. This log set is certified for use with specific burners only and is not a universal replacement. A compatible vented burner and valve kit must be used. Also available as a complete package with a vented burner and valve included.
Installation should be performed by a licensed gas technician in accordance with local codes and the appliance manufacturer instructions. Always shut off the gas supply and allow the appliance to cool completely before servicing or repositioning logs. Do not use this log set with vent-free or unvented burner systems. Verify burner certification compatibility before installation to prevent fire and carbon monoxide hazards.
