The RH PETERSON G45-30 is a Triple T vented natural gas log burner designed for single-sided indoor fireplaces. The Triple T configuration features a main burner tube running down the center with a smaller front flame tube that branches off at a T, plus three additional flame ports along the front pipe. This geometry places flame activity directly beneath the log set, producing a deep bed of glowing embers and dancing flames across the full length of the burner. Rated at 95,000 BTU/h maximum output, the G45-30 is approved for use in mobile homes and is installed by qualified gas appliance technicians. Manual ignition is standard; no remote capability is available on this model.
The G45-30 is suited for residential single-sided indoor fireplace installations where a traditional log set appearance is desired. The front flame design positions combustion beneath the logs to accentuate flame height and ember glow, making it appropriate for decorative hearth applications where visual realism is a priority. The burner accepts 30-inch allowable log sets sold separately. Because gas log burners are certified to work only with specific compatible log sets, verified compatibility must be confirmed before pairing any log set with this burner. Using a non-compatible log set creates serious risks including fire, carbon monoxide poisoning, and property damage.
Designed for use with 30-inch Real-Fyre gas log sets that are specifically certified for the G45 burner series. Log sets are not included and are not universal. Confirm log set compatibility against the manufacturer-published approved log set list for the G45-30 before installation. Approved for single-sided indoor vented fireplace applications including mobile home installations.
Installation must be performed by a licensed gas technician in accordance with applicable local codes and the National Fuel Gas Code (NFPA 54). Shut off the gas supply at the service valve and allow all components to reach ambient temperature before servicing or installing. Inlet gas pressure must be verified within the specified range using a manometer before lighting; operating outside the listed pressure range voids certification and creates a safety hazard. The damper clamp included in the kit must be installed to prevent inadvertent damper closure during operation, as required for vented gas log appliances.
