The RH PETERSON G4-16/19P is a liquid propane, vented glowing ember burner system designed for single-sided indoor gas fireplaces. It runs a single tube burner through the center of the burner pan, producing flames that dance along the full length of the tube. Maximum output is 39,000 BTU/h. Ignition is manual with no remote option. The system ships complete with a burner pan, grate, glowing embers, vermiculite, burner clips, flex connector kit, damper clamp, and an SPK-26 safety pilot valve. It is installed by a licensed gas technician and is approved for mobile home installations. A compatible log set is sold separately.
This burner is intended for traditional log set applications in vented, single-sided indoor fireplaces fueled by liquid propane. It accepts 16-inch and 19-inch Real-Fyre gas log sets. Important: this burner is certified to work only with specific compatible log sets. Using a non-compatible log set creates serious risk of fire, carbon monoxide poisoning, and property damage. This is a base-model G4 system. Glowing embers will not glow as brightly as a G45 burner, and the G4 does not produce additional front flames.
Designed for use with Real-Fyre gas log sets in 16-inch and 19-inch sizes only. This burner is certified for use with specific log sets and is not universal. Consult the RH PETERSON log set compatibility guide before selecting a log set. Log set is not included.
Installation must be performed by a licensed gas technician in accordance with local codes and the appliance manufacturer instructions. Shut off the gas supply at the meter or main valve before beginning any work on the burner or pilot assembly. Verify inlet gas pressure falls between 11.0 inches water column and 13.0 inches water column before commissioning. Do not use this burner with a non-listed log set, as doing so creates risk of fire and carbon monoxide exposure.
