Product Description

The RH PETERSON G31-18/20-17P is a three-tiered vented gas log burner designed for liquid propane (LP) operation in single-sided, indoor wood-burning fireplaces equipped with a gas line. It operates on a millivolt standing pilot system with a variable flame control valve and includes a variable flame remote kit. Maximum heat output is 40,000 BTU/h. The three-tier burner design produces tall, robust center flames approximately 3 to 5 inches above and between the logs, with middle flames at or below the top of the front log and ember flames approximately 0.25 to 1 inch above the ember bed. A licensed gas technician should perform installation in accordance with applicable local codes.

This burner is approved for use in mobile homes and is rated for indoor, single-sided vented fireplace applications only. It accepts 18-inch gas log sets and is designed to work with the following specific log sets: Mountain Crest Oak (MCO18), Mountain Crest Split Oak (MCS18), Charred Angel Oak (CHNA18), and Charred Angel Split Oak (CHNS18). Additional compatible log sets include Charred Oak (CHD18/20), Charred American Oak (CHAO18/20), Charred Royal English Oak (CHB18/20), and Charred Split (CHS18/20). Log sets are sold separately. Minimum fireplace dimensions required are 25 inches front width, 20 inches rear width, 15 inches depth measured from inside the lip, and 17 inches height.
