The RH PETERSON G10-24/30 is a vent-free manual control burner for natural gas, designed for use with specific 24-inch and 30-inch Charred Series log sets in single-sided indoor fireplaces. The burner delivers 19,000 BTU/h on low and 37,000 BTU/h on high. It ships pre-assembled with a manual control valve, an oxygen depletion sensor (ODS) safety system, a custom G10 grate, connector kit, glowing embers, Bryte Coals, and Lava-Fyre Granules. ANSI certified and approved for mobile home installation. This is a manual-only burner and cannot be used with a thermostat or remote control of any kind.
The G10-24/30 is intended for indoor, single-sided residential fireplaces. It is compatible exclusively with Charred Series log sets in 24-inch and 30-inch sizes. Minimum fireplace opening requirements vary by log set size. For 24-inch log sets: 28-inch front width, 20-inch rear width, 14-inch depth, and 18-inch height. For 30-inch log sets: 34-inch front width, 20-inch rear width, 14-inch depth, and 18-inch height. This burner is not intended for outdoor use or two-sided fireplace configurations. Log sets are sold separately. A liquid propane version is available under model G10-24/30P.
Compatible Charred Series log sets include Charred Frontier Oak, Charred Aged Split Oak, Charred Alpine Birch, and Charred Gnarled Split in 24-inch and 30-inch sizes. Burners are certified to work with specific log sets only and are not universal. Using this burner with a non-compatible log set creates risk of fire, carbon monoxide poisoning, and property damage. This burner is for natural gas only; the propane version is model G10-24/30P.
Installation of vent-free gas appliances must be performed by a licensed gas technician in accordance with the appliance instructions and applicable local and national codes, including ANSI Z21.11.2. Shut off the gas supply at the main valve before making any connections. Verify inlet gas pressure falls within the specified range before startup. Vent-free products cannot be shipped to California and are prohibited in some jurisdictions — confirm local building codes before installation.
