The RH PETERSON EFV-24 is a 24-inch refractory ceramic replacement log set designed for use exclusively with G18 vent-free burners. The set includes 7 refractory ceramic logs and 2 decorative wood chunk covers, all hand-painted with realistic char detailing on the front log. Reinforced steel rods are embedded in each log to reduce chipping and extend service life. The ember bed features Bryte Coals for added visual depth. This log set is intended for vent-free gas fireplace installations and is installed by qualified gas appliance technicians or licensed fireplace professionals.
The EFV-24 is designed for vent-free installations where no chimney or flue is required, making it suited to residential living spaces where a direct-vent or B-vent system is not practical. The Evening Fyre series produces a realistic flame pattern appropriate for decorative gas fireplaces. A G18 vent-free burner, sold separately, is required. Multiple valve options are available for use with the G18 burner. This log set is not compatible with vented burner systems and is not approved for use in vent-free systems outside the G18 series. This product cannot be shipped to California.
The EFV-24 is certified for use exclusively with the G18 vent-free burner. It is not a universal log set and must not be used with non-certified burners due to the risk of fire, carbon monoxide poisoning, and property damage. This log set is not approved for vented installations.
Installation of vent-free gas log sets must be performed by a licensed gas appliance technician in accordance with local codes and the appliance manufacturer's instructions. Shut off the gas supply completely before positioning or replacing any log components. Do not alter the log arrangement from the specified configuration, as improper placement can affect combustion performance and safety. Vent-free appliances require adequate room ventilation; consult local building codes for minimum room volume and ventilation requirements.
