The RH PETERSON ECV-30 is a 30-inch replacement log set designed for use exclusively with G18 vent-free gas burners. The set includes 7 refractory ceramic logs and 2 decorative wood chunk covers, each hand-painted with charring detail to replicate the appearance of real burned wood. Reinforced steel rods are inserted into each log to reduce chipping and breakage over time. The ember bed incorporates Bryte Coals for added visual depth. This log set is intended for licensed gas technicians or qualified installers performing vent-free fireplace installations.

The ECV-30 is designed for vent-free fireplace installations in residential settings where no chimney or flue is present. Because vent-free systems recirculate combustion gases into the living space, log sets in this category are certified for use only with specific, matched burners. The ECV-30 is compatible exclusively with the G18 vent-free burner. It is not a universal fit. The appropriate valve configuration is selected separately or as part of a complete vent-free package. Note: vent-free products cannot be shipped to the state of California.

Compatibility

The ECV-30 is compatible exclusively with the G18 vent-free burner. It is not compatible with vented burners or any burner outside the G18 platform. Using this log set with a non-certified burner creates serious risk of fire, carbon monoxide poisoning, and property damage.

Installation Notes

Installation must be performed by a qualified gas technician in accordance with local codes and the appliance manufacturer instructions. Before servicing or installing any gas log component, shut off the gas supply at the nearest upstream valve. Vent-free appliances require adequate room volume and air supply per the appliance rating and applicable mechanical codes. Do not operate this log set with any burner other than the certified G18 vent-free burner.
