The RH PETERSON CHAO-18/20 is a refractory ceramic log set designed to replicate the look of charred American oak wood in vented gas fireplace applications. The set includes 7 individual logs — 5 full-size pieces and 2 smaller chunk logs — sized for 18 inch and 20 inch burner configurations. Each log is cast from actual wood samples and reinforced internally with steel rods to resist chipping and cracking during repeated heat cycles. This log set is intended for installation by qualified fireplace technicians or HVAC professionals in residential vented gas fireplace systems.

The CHAO-18/20 log set is designed for use with vented gas burners only. It is not a universal fit and must be paired with a certified compatible burner and valve kit. The Peterson G4, G45, and G46 burners are listed as compatible options. These logs are sold without a burner or valve kit. A complete package including compatible vented burners and valves is also available separately. This set is not approved for vent-free or unvented burner systems.
