The RH PETERSON CHAB-30 is a 9-piece refractory ceramic gas log set designed as a replacement for vent-free gas fireplace burner systems. Each log is hand-crafted and hand-painted to replicate the appearance of charred alpine birch, including a white birch bark finish and a burn-through front log profile. The set spans 30 inches and is built to maintain structural integrity at sustained high temperatures, resisting chipping and breaking over long service intervals. Intended for use with the Peterson G10 vent-free burner platform, this log set is the logs-only component and does not include a burner or valve.
This log set is configured specifically for the Peterson G10-24/30 vent-free burner and is suited for residential gas fireplace installations. The burn-through front log design is achieved with a 2-piece front log assembly, giving the appearance of a fully consumed wood fire. A decorative matching wood chip is included to conceal the burner valve from the front view. The set works with the range of valve options available on the G10 burner, including manual, millivolt on/off remote with standing pilot, millivolt variable flame remote with standing pilot, and variable flame remote with electronic ignition.
Designed for use with the Peterson G10-24/30 vent-free burner. Compatible with G10 burner valve configurations including manual, millivolt on/off remote with standing pilot, millivolt variable flame remote with standing pilot, and variable flame remote with electronic ignition. This listing is for logs only; the G10 burner is not included.
Installation of gas log sets should be performed by a licensed gas technician in accordance with local codes and the appliance manufacturer instructions. Shut off the gas supply at the valve before positioning or repositioning logs. Log placement sequence is critical to proper flame appearance and safe combustion in vent-free applications — follow the manufacturer log placement diagram exactly. Do not operate a vent-free log set in a sealed firebox without confirming the room meets minimum volume requirements per the appliance rating.
