The RH PETERSON CHAB-24 is a 9-piece refractory ceramic log set designed as a replacement for use with the G10 vent-free burner series. Each log is hand-crafted and hand-painted to replicate the appearance of charred alpine birch wood, including a white birch bark finish. The set spans 24 inches and features a burn-through front log design achieved with a dedicated 2-piece front log. Manufactured from refractory ceramic, the logs are built to retain structural integrity at sustained high temperatures, resisting chipping and breaking over extended service life. Installation is handled by qualified gas appliance technicians.
This log set is intended for residential gas fireplace applications and is certified for use specifically with the Peterson G10-24/30 vent-free burner. The G10 burner is available with multiple valve configurations: manual, millivolt with on/off remote and standing pilot, millivolt with variable flame remote and standing pilot, and variable flame remote with electronic ignition. The CHAB-24 log set is not universal and must only be paired with its certified burner. Using this log set with a non-certified burner creates risk of fire, carbon monoxide exposure, and property damage.
The CHAB-24 is certified for use with the Peterson G10-24/30 vent-free burner only. It is not compatible with other burner models or brands. The G10 burner supports manual, millivolt on/off, millivolt variable flame, and electronic ignition valve configurations.
Installation of vent-free gas log sets must be performed by a licensed gas appliance technician in accordance with local codes and the appliance manufacturer instructions. Shut off the gas supply completely before handling any burner or log set components. Do not operate this log set on any burner other than the certified G10-24/30 unit. Vent-free gas appliances are subject to local jurisdiction approval — verify that vent-free operation is permitted before installation.
