The RH PETERSON CDR-30 is a 30-inch, 4-piece refractory ceramic log set designed as a replacement for vented gas fireplace burner systems. Each log is hand-painted from real driftwood samples, producing a realistic coastal appearance. Reinforced steel rods are cast into every log to resist chipping and cracking over the life of the set. Refractory ceramic construction handles the thermal cycling of repeated gas fireplace use. This log set is installed by licensed gas technicians or qualified fireplace installers and is intended for vented burner applications only. A compatible vented burner and valve kit are required and sold separately.
The CDR-30 is sized for residential vented gas fireplaces with a 30-inch burner configuration. It is not a universal log set and must be paired with a certified compatible burner. Peterson G4, G45, and G46 vented burner series are confirmed compatible with this log set. A complete package combining the Coastal Driftwood log set with a compatible vented burner and valve kit is also available as a separate offering. This set is not rated for vent-free or B-vent burner applications.
Compatible with Peterson G4, G45, and G46 vented burner series. This log set is certified for use with specific vented burners only and is not compatible with non-certified or vent-free burner systems. Always verify burner certification before installation.
Installation must be performed by a qualified gas appliance technician or licensed fireplace installer in accordance with local codes and the appliance manufacturer instructions. Shut off the gas supply completely before servicing or positioning logs in the firebox. Log placement must follow the manufacturer-specified arrangement for the certified burner to ensure proper combustion and safe operation. Never operate this log set with a non-certified burner, as doing so creates serious risk of fire, carbon monoxide poisoning, and property damage.
