The RESIDEO q3200u2002/u GlowFly Universal Hot Surface Igniter is a silicon nitride ignition component designed for 120-volt remote flame sense gas appliance applications. Sold in a pack of 6, this igniter is built to consolidate field inventory by covering more than 110 OEM igniter models with a single SKU. The silicon nitride construction delivers reliable ignition performance and resistance to thermal cycling. Six custom mounting bracket assemblies are included to adapt the igniter across a wide range of installation configurations, making it a practical carry for service technicians who work on multiple furnace brands and models.
The q3200u2002/u is intended for use in gas-fired systems requiring a 120-volt hot surface igniter with remote flame sensing. It serves as an OEM-style field replacement for Norton, St. Gobain, and CoorsTek silicon carbide igniters in residential and light commercial heating equipment. The included igniter application templates and bracket assemblies allow technicians to quickly identify and match the correct bracket during service calls, reducing time spent in tight combustion chambers. The GlowFly packaging provides visual references to aid correct bracket selection on the job.
Compatible with 120-volt remote flame sense gas-fired systems. Designed as a field replacement for Norton, St. Gobain, and CoorsTek silicon carbide hot surface igniters across more than 110 OEM igniter models.
Hot surface igniters are installed by licensed HVAC technicians. Always shut off power to the furnace and allow the igniter to cool completely before handling, as silicon nitride igniters are sensitive to skin oils and physical shock. Use the included bracket templates and packaging visuals to confirm the correct mounting bracket before installation. Follow local mechanical codes and the equipment manufacturer's wiring diagram when connecting the igniter leads.
