The RESIDEO pcv100/u is a 1-inch circulating pump check valve engineered for closed-loop hydronic heating, hydronic cooling, and solar-powered systems. It prevents backflow through the circulator loop, protecting system performance and pump longevity. The valve seats against reverse flow and reseals reliably across a wide operating temperature range up to 200 degrees F. An external O-ring in groove provides a secure, leak-resistant connection at the flange interface. The EPDM rubber seal material is compatible with non-potable water and performs dependably under the thermal cycling common in hydronic and solar installations. Licensed plumbers and HVAC hydronic technicians are the typical installers for this component.
This check valve is intended for closed-loop hydronic heating and cooling systems and solar-powered systems where preventing reverse flow through the circulator is required. It is rated for non-potable water service and meets NSF/ANSI 61 standards. The 1-inch connection size fits standard circulator pump flanges used in residential and light commercial hydronic piping. It is specifically listed for use with the PC3F1558IUF00/U and PCG100/U circulator pumps.
Listed for use with the PC3F1558IUF00/U and PCG100/U circulator pumps. Suitable for closed-loop hydronic heating systems, hydronic cooling systems, and solar-powered systems handling non-potable water.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified hydronic technician in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and ASHRAE hydronic system guidelines. Shut off system pressure and allow the system to cool before removing or installing any check valve. Confirm flow-direction arrow on the valve body is aligned with intended system flow before securing the flange connection. Do not use in potable water or open-loop systems.
