The RESIDEO f100f1620 is a whole-house media air cleaner designed for installation in the return air duct of residential forced-air HVAC systems. It ships as a complete kit including the cabinet, access door, and a MERV 11 media filter, so no additional components are required for a standard installation. The MERV 11 filter captures particles as small as 0.3 microns and delivers 32% E1, 72% E2, and 96% E3 efficiency per ASHRAE 52.2-1999, reducing dust, pollen, pet dander, and other airborne contaminants. No electrical connections are required. The zinc-coated, roll-formed steel cabinet resists corrosion and is rated to support the weight of a residential furnace and evaporator coil.

The f100f1620 is compatible with all gas, oil, and electric forced-air furnaces and with compressor-based cooling systems rated up to 5 tons. It fits a nominal 16 x 20 inch duct opening and mounts in any position in the return air duct, making it adaptable to a wide range of residential duct configurations.
