The Research Products RP-410, also called the PolyPen, is a handheld device for measuring spectral reflectance in leaves. It has an internal Xenon incandescent lamp that lights in the range of three hundred eighty to one thousand fifty nanometers. The PolyPen includes either a UVIS detector for the range of three hundred eighty to seven hundred ninety nanometers or a NIR detector for six hundred forty to one thousand fifty nanometers. This unit computes reflectance indices such as NDVI, NDGI, and PRI and offers options for custom index programming.
