The RESEARCH PRODUCTS 6726 is a 10 Series double flange long standard linear bearing designed for linear motion applications. Manufactured from 6063-T6 aluminum through an extrusion process with a clear anodize finish, this bearing provides a durable, corrosion-resistant housing for profiles with a minimum of three open T-slots. Included in the assembly are pads, screws, and shims. The pads are made of self-lubricating UHMW material, reducing maintenance requirements in service. The overall length measures 4.000 inches and the bearing weighs 0.437 pounds. This component is engineered for compression loads only and is not intended to support hanging loads.
The 6726 is used in linear motion assemblies where a double flange long bearing mount is required. It fits 10 Series T-slot framing profiles with a minimum of three open T-slots. Typical install scenarios include industrial framing, machine guarding, workstations, and other modular structural applications where controlled linear movement along an aluminum profile is needed. The longer bearing body provides increased contact length compared to standard-length versions, which can improve stability along the travel axis.
Designed for use with 10 Series T-slot aluminum framing profiles having a minimum of three open T-slots. Intended as a compression-load linear bearing mount in 10 Series modular framing systems.
Installation is typically performed by millwrights, machine builders, or mechanical technicians familiar with modular T-slot framing systems. Power down and de-energize any connected equipment before servicing linear motion components. Confirm the mating profile has a minimum of three open T-slots before mounting. This bearing is rated for compression loads only — do not configure the assembly in a way that places hanging or tensile loads on the bearing.
