The REHAU 499752-001 is a polymer branch reducing tee designed for use in PEXa piping systems built to the ASTM F1960 cold expansion standard. The fitting conforms to SDR 9 pipe dimensions and meets temperature and pressure ratings in accordance with ASTM F877 and CSA B137.5 for SDR 9 PEX. Compatibility

Installation Notes

Installation must be performed by a licensed plumber using commercially available ASTM F1960 cold expansion tools; follow all current REHAU Technical Guidelines and applicable local plumbing codes, including IPC requirements. Shut off and depressurize the water supply completely before cutting into an existing line. Allow expanded fittings to recover fully before pressurizing the system. Do not attempt to use this fitting with PEXb or PEXc pipe, or with non-F1960 expansion rings.
