The REHAU 235371-313 is a 3/4-inch nominal diameter PEXa pipe supplied in a 300-foot coil, designed for potable water, hydronic heating, and radiant floor applications. Manufactured using REHAU's high-pressure peroxide crosslinking method, the pipe meets the defining characteristics of PEXa: superior flexibility, resistance to stress cracking, and reliable long-term performance in pressurized systems. A co-extruded polyethylene UV shield is bonded to the white outer surface, protecting the pipe from ultraviolet light exposure for up to one year during job-site storage or above-ground staging before final installation.
This pipe is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing and hydronic systems. Typical applications include domestic hot and cold water distribution, radiant heating loops, and snowmelt systems. The 300-foot coil format is practical for larger installations where continuous runs reduce the need for fittings. Plumbers and hydronic system installers working with manifold-based distribution systems will find the coil length compatible with common home-run layouts.
Designed as an OEM-style PEXa pipe for use with standard 3/4-inch expansion-style or clamp-style PEXa fittings and manifold systems in residential and light commercial plumbing and hydronic heating applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and ASTM F876/F877 standards for PEX tubing. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before making any connections. Use only fittings and tools rated for PEXa pipe; expansion-style fittings require the correct expander head sized to 3/4 inch. Avoid prolonged UV exposure beyond the one-year rating of the shield — install or protect the pipe before that window expires.
