The REHAU 104846-001 is a branch reducing tee fitting designed for use with EVERLOC+ compression sleeve systems and RAUPEX PEX-a pipe. It connects two 1-inch lines to a 1/2-inch branch, making it a practical solution for residential and commercial hydronic or domestic water distribution runs. The fitting body is constructed from Acudel Modified Polyphenylsulfone, a high-performance thermoplastic rated for potable water service. All three connections are EVERLOC+ PEX cold expansion type, compatible with the EVERLOC+ compression sleeve tooling system. The part complies with the lead-free requirements of the US Safe Drinking Water Act and meets ASTM F877 and CSA B137.5 for SDR9 PEX pipe systems.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing and hydronic heating systems where RAUPEX PEX-a pipe is specified. Typical applications include domestic hot and cold water distribution, radiant heating supply and return manifold branch runs, and any EVERLOC+ system layout requiring a reducing tee transition from a 1-inch main to a 1/2-inch branch line. Installation requires the dedicated EVERLOC+ compression sleeve tools per published REHAU technical guidelines.
Designed for use with RAUPEX PEX-a pipe and the EVERLOC+ compression sleeve fitting and tooling system. Refer to REHAU pipe product submittals for maximum temperature and pressure ratings applicable to your specific installation.
Installation must be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified tradesperson using the dedicated EVERLOC+ compression sleeve tools per all published REHAU technical guidelines. Shut off and depressurize the water supply before beginning any fitting work. Do not substitute generic PEX expansion tools for the EVERLOC+ system; improper tooling will result in a failed joint. Local plumbing codes, including IPC requirements, apply to all potable water and hydronic installations.
