The REGO-FIX 7111.16000 is a spanner-style collet chuck wrench designed specifically for use with ER16 collet systems and ER spanner nuts. It provides the controlled torque needed to properly seat and release ER16 collets in compatible chuck bodies. This wrench is a standard toolroom accessory used during toolholder setup and changeover on CNC machining centers, mills, and lathes. Machinists, toolroom technicians, and setup personnel rely on properly matched wrenches to avoid rounding spanner nut slots and to achieve consistent clamping force across collet sizes in the ER16 range.
This wrench is suited for production and job-shop environments where ER16 collet chucks are in regular rotation. The spanner design engages the radial slots on ER spanner nuts directly, making it the correct tool for tightening or loosening ER16 collet assemblies. It is not interchangeable with ER20, ER25, or other ER series spanner nuts, which require their own matched wrench sizes.
Compatible with ER spanner nuts used in ER16 collet chuck assemblies. Not compatible with ER20, ER25, ER32, or other ER series spanner nuts.
This wrench is used by machinists and toolroom personnel during collet chuck setup and tool changes. Always ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the control is in an estop or tool-change-safe state before handling collet chucks. Engage the wrench squarely in the spanner nut slots to avoid slot damage. Follow the toolholder manufacturer torque recommendations for proper collet seating.
