The REGO-FIX 1120.12702 is an ER20 collet with a 0.5 inch bore diameter, designed for use in ER20-compatible collet chucks on CNC machining centers, milling machines, and turning equipment. With a total indicated runout (TIR) of 0.0004 inches, this collet delivers the precision required for tight-tolerance work in production and job-shop environments. The overall length is 31.5 mm and the overall diameter is 21 mm. Machinists and toolroom technicians install this collet when setting up toolholding assemblies for end mills, drills, reamers, and similar round-shank cutting tools.
This ER20 collet is suited for both light and moderate cutting applications in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It fits any standard ER20 collet chuck or nut system. Typical installation environments include CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers, manual knee mills, and multi-axis turning centers where consistent tool runout and repeatable grip are critical to part quality and tool life.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for standard ER20 collet chuck systems accepting a 0.5 inch bore collet.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Before changing collets, power down the spindle and confirm the machine is in a safe, locked-out state per your facility lockout/tagout procedure. Seat the collet fully into the ER20 nut before inserting into the chuck body, and torque the collet nut using a calibrated ER collet wrench to the chuck manufacturer specification. Inspect the collet bore and seating surfaces for chips or damage before each use.
