The REFLECTIX INC EXPO4050 is a black, closed-cell foam expansion joint strip designed for concrete and masonry applications. Measuring 4 inches wide by 50 feet long and 1/2 inch thick, it provides a compressible, resilient filler between adjacent slabs, walls, or structural sections that must accommodate thermal movement and load cycling. The material is stiff enough to hold a straight line on linear joints yet flexible enough to conform to curved or contoured surfaces. It resists moisture intrusion and UV degradation, making it suitable for both interior and exterior installations. Licensed contractors and experienced concrete tradespeople are the primary installers.
This expansion joint strip is used wherever control and isolation joints are required in flatwork, slabs-on-grade, driveways, sidewalks, pool decks, curbs, and foundation walls. The 50-foot roll provides continuous coverage for longer joint runs, reducing the number of end-to-end splices. The 4-inch width suits standard joint depths in residential and light commercial concrete work.
