The RECTORSEAL polar3030-3gy is a heavy-duty equipment pad injection molded from polyethylene, designed to provide a stable, level base for HVAC and mechanical equipment in residential and light commercial applications. Measuring 30 inches by 30 inches with a 3-inch thickness, the pad offers a solid footprint suited to condensing units, heat pump bases, and similar outdoor equipment. Its polyethylene construction resists moisture, chemicals, and UV exposure without the cracking or spalling associated with concrete pads. HVAC technicians and mechanical contractors install this pad as a fast, code-friendly alternative to poured concrete bases. The gray finish blends with standard equipment installations and requires no curing time before use.
This equipment pad is used in residential and light commercial HVAC installations as a mounting base for outdoor condensing units, heat pumps, minisplit compressor sections, and similar ground-level mechanical equipment. It is well suited to new installations as well as service replacements where an existing concrete pad has deteriorated. The lightweight polyethylene construction allows a single technician to position the pad without lifting equipment. Applications span both slab-on-grade and gravel-bed installations where a firm, level surface is needed beneath the equipment.
Designed as an OEM-style equipment base pad for residential and light commercial outdoor HVAC units requiring a 30-inch by 30-inch mounting surface.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed HVAC technician or mechanical contractor. The equipment pad should be placed on a firm, level surface such as compacted gravel or existing grade before setting the unit to ensure proper drainage and equipment levelness. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power to the equipment before repositioning any existing unit onto the new pad. Consult local mechanical codes for any jurisdiction-specific requirements regarding equipment pad elevation or clearances.
