The RECTORSEAL m52330 is a 3/8-inch vibration absorber designed to isolate and dampen mechanical vibration in refrigerant and fluid piping systems. At 8.47 inches in overall length and rated to 650 psi maximum working pressure, this component reduces noise transmission and stress on adjacent piping caused by compressor and equipment vibration. HVAC and refrigeration technicians install it inline at connection points where equipment movement would otherwise transfer into the refrigerant line set or piping assembly.
This vibration absorber is suited for residential and light commercial refrigeration and air conditioning applications where compressor vibration needs to be isolated from the rest of the system. It is typically installed at the compressor discharge or suction connection, where vibration is highest. The 3/8-inch connection size fits common line set configurations in split systems and refrigeration equipment. Proper placement during installation helps extend the service life of brazed or flared connections nearby.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation vibration absorber for 3/8-inch refrigerant or fluid piping systems in residential and light commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
Installation is performed by a licensed HVAC or refrigeration technician. Recover all refrigerant and relieve system pressure before cutting into any refrigerant line. The absorber is typically brazed into the line using standard refrigeration brazing practices in accordance with applicable mechanical codes. Avoid twisting or kinking the absorber body during installation, as this can reduce its effectiveness and service life.
